Echoes Of The Earth

June 12th – 30th

at B-CAF Art Gallery
This exhibition brings together the profound works of five phenomenal artists.

This group exhibition showcasing works of Artists Pradosh Paul, Saumen Khamrui, Chandan Debnath, Ratna Bardhan and Subhankar Chakraborty is an exploration of the myriad ways in which nature can be perceived and represented. Each artist in ‘Echoes of Earth’ engages with nature through a unique medium, allowing for a diverse and enriching visual discourse. From the grandeur of sweeping landscapes to the minutiae of natural forms, from meditative reflections on environmental degradation to celebrations of nature’s resilience, these works collectively form a multifaceted portrayal of our world.

Prakriti has always been a force larger than all beings, a source of life and inspiration, omnipresent and omnipotent. As an enduring muse, it has inspired countless artists to capture its essence, ponder its mysteries and reflect on its profound impact on human existence. The conversation surrounding humanity’s interaction with nature is as complex as it is timeless. In ‘ECHOES OF THE EARTH’, this dialogue is brought to life through the distinct lenses of five extraordinary artists, each of whom explores their connection with nature, creating a tapestry of perspectives that celebrate its eternal beauty and scrutinize our contemporary relationship with it.

This exhibition showcased artists who use different lenses, different mediums and belong to different age groups. Prakriti has a personal connection with all living beings, and it was exciting to look at it through the diverse lenses of these artists.
