AiRT?24 is an exhibition of a group of ten visual experimenters.
B-CAF provided a platform for open and critical conversations within the art fraternity through AiRT?24, an exhibition that explored the use of Artificial Intelligence in art. The event encouraged artists to share their thoughts, insights, and experiences, contributing to a broader discourse on the evolving role of AI in creative practices.
The exhibition embraced diverse perspectives, acknowledging the potential, challenges, and ethical considerations of this innovative medium. It invited audiences to reflect on the central question: Is art produced with artificial intelligence truly art? This inquiry formed the core of the exhibition’s narrative, encouraging visitors to look, judge, and decide for themselves.
The artworks showcased in AiRT?24 were selected through an open call that welcomed submissions from artists already experimenting with AI as a creative tool. These included works generated using techniques such as generative algorithms, machine learning, and other AI-driven methods. The exhibition highlighted the creations emerging at the intersection of art and technology, offering a thought-provoking exploration of the boundaries between human creativity and artificial innovation.
